For the first time Eagle's Nest is in the exciting position to establish a permanent Ensemble of actors for it's Theatre in Education repertory program.

This ensemble is already confirmed to be touring a Production of COSI in May/June and a remount of Colin Craig's acclaimed "M" throughout 2012.

We are also hoping to mount a new production of 12 Angry Men (Still Waiting on rights) and these productions will be joined by the Dickens show

COMMITMENTS Actors will be notified of gig at least 6 weeks in advance.

The shows will be touring to schools and you will be paid a per diem of $80 per performance .

The way we expect that it will work is that we will have a core Ensemble of about 10-12 Actors who will get first pick of the performances they want to to do and another 4-6 Actors who we use as understudies.

Rehearsal for the core ensemble on each show will be one week part time and one week full time.

Actors will be required to arrive at the first rehearsal with lines learned.

AUDITION DETAILS:

The break down of what we are looking for is as follows.

Men
1-2 actors, aged 45+
2-3 actors, aged 30-45
3-4 actors, aged 18-30

Women
1-2 actors, aged 45+
2-3 actors, aged 30-45
3-4 actors, aged 18-30

- Auditions will be in 25 min slots in pairs.
(You may apply individually or with a partner)

- Actors will be required to prepare a 2-3 min monologue. You should also bring a scene to read from a piece of theatre you like. It is preferable that at least one peice be from a shakespeare play.

NOV AUDITION DATES:
Mon 14th - 3pm - 9pm
Sat 19th - 9am - 3pm
Mon 21st 3pm - 9pm
(there may be a second round of auditions in dec)

NB:
ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR A POSSIBLE CALL BACK

- ON SAT 26th NOV FROM 9 am - 12pm
