Production Specific

In addition to a standard post show Q & A session, school groups wishing to gain deeper insight into any of our productions can book one of two different kinds of workshop. These workshops are conducted by the Artistic Director of Eagle’s Nest Theatre and/or the Director and cast of a specific show. The two types of workshops we offer are:

Observation and discussion - students witness a staged rehearsal
Reading and performance - students participate in a rehearsal

General Workshops

We also offer a range of tailored workshop programs to help students develop creative skills in a given field or assist them in the exploration of a topic through the use of active participation and creative analysis. We offer private tuition, one-off classes and ongoing programs for all ages and levels in:

Acting - Voice training; Theatre theory & history; Harmony; Composition
Singing - Instruments; Music theory & history; Harmony; Composition
Dance - Improvised movement; Choreography; Gymnastics; Circus
Teamwork - Collaboration; Presentation; Confidence building; Leadership

Another initiative of Eagle’s Nest Theatre is to offer an Artists in School Productions Program. This gives schools the option of using our staff, directors, designers and producers to organise and create innovative musical, dance or theatre productions at your school.

Schools can attend our matinee performances in the theatre, or can arrange for the shows to tour into schools during our touring seasons.

We also offer a range of workshops specially tailored to schools’ needs.
